A traditional holiday on an unspoiled Greek island

The Cave of the Nymphs Estate is a peaceful and secluded place on the small island of Ithaca that offers a perfect holiday retreat for families, couples or groups of friends.

If you wish to live a traditional Greek island holiday experience, at the Cave of the Nymphs Estate you can familiarize yourself with the way we grow and look after our vegetable gardens, orchards, olive grove and vineyard. You may participate in the various agricultural works, such as watering, pruning and digging, or even take part in the wine pressing (end August) or the olive picking (end October).

If you love walking, you can walk the paths of the Estate to explore the flora of the island and, dependent on the season, pick up wildflowers, fresh fruits or wild herds. You can also visit the nearby country churches and enjoy the amazing views from the hills towards the harbour of Vathy and the bay of Aetos.

You may also join the various activities we organise upon request, such as barbeque nights with local meat and house wine, guided tours on the island or daily excursions with private sailing boat.

If you just want to relax away from it all without doing anything, the authentic setting of the Estate is ideal for a hideaway holiday. Here, you may enjoy the peace and beauty of the Nature, breath in the fresh-air coming down from the mountain and the aroma of wild herbs and flowers, relax in the natural shade of the trees and enjoy your swim in the private pool or the breathtaking view from the roofed veranda.
